Chair covers ideas

A large proportion of brides select to hire chair covers for their wedding ceremony and reception as they brighten up a wedding venue and make a massive difference to the overall look.

After spending time over several years dealing with weddings and styling different venues including wedding marquee receptions, I know from experience that every venue has a different style of chair and one chair cover does not fit all.

That is why I have my stock of chair covers made to measure by a fabulous linen supplier, Anna at S-Linen or, if it is a one off wedding at a new venue, I will hire my chair covers from S-Linen’s own extensive stock to ensure I get a perfect chair cover fit.

No sloppy sides, poor quality material, or baggy seats for me!

I am just too detail conscious and if the chair covers look terrible then it can spoil the overall design, which has taken me many hours to bring together.

Fabulous chair covers styles to enhance your wedding decor

By selecting to have chair covers at your wedding ceremony and wedding reception you can change the whole ambience of your wedding venue quickly and easily, giving the venue a burst of your very own wedding colour.

It is an affordable way of enhancing the style of your wedding venue without too much expense.

You do not have to just go for a chair cover with a simple bow as there are so many different styles of enhancements you can have.

For example, “The Butterfly“, using different fabrics and a combination of  colour shades or soft shades to achieve a more dramatic or romantic look.

chair sashes

Another option is”The Band” , gathered, the sash twisted or folded to give a unique look to any dressed chair.

Try the sash in sleek simple tie, angled couture scrunch or luxurious bow-tie twist to bring your wedding colours in.

For added luxury use taffetta or satin rather than organza.

A contemporary design can be achieved when you dress your chair with a “Corset” design by the S-Linen in-house designer.

S-Linen provides me with high quality fabric in a selection of fabulous colours and, as a designer, I find I can get some wonderful combinations of texture and colour to finish my overall event design.

I just love all the S-Linen staff and they are now good friends too!
