Recently at Norah Sleep, we visited a local merchants yard.
Not only is it a great trip out but also because these yards can be ‘little gold mines’ with little gems right under your very own nose, perfect for venue dressing.

It is the place to turn to for quirky, vintage or unusual objects to give your event that little something extra. We are currently planning a rustic themed event, a favourite theme, where milk churns and barrels are on the agenda.. we will keep you all posted on this with future blogs.

Our visit to the merchant yard was not only great to source some objects, but it also provided fuel for creativity and knowledge.

We came across some masks which would be perfect to use in a “Masquerade Ball”. The advantage of the merchant’s yard, car boot, charity shop or as we also know it “The Thrift Shop”, is that we know where to source items that are not on the high street… anybody got 99c?

Best Wishes
